Ah yes, one of the things that annoyed the crap out of me too. Fortunately, the solution is pretty simple: unplug the coaxial cable wire going into your TV. Apparently the PS3 draws quite a bit of power, and having it on the same circuit as your TV causes the interference (it can also cause some light buzzing). Hope that helps!
