pH must be considered in reactions most often when free hydrogens are involved in the reaction. An example is the following AB + H+ <--> HA + B As the free hydrogen is on the left and H+ concentration is equal to 10^(-pH) we can see that high conentrations caused by low pH will cause the reaction to be favored in the right direction. I agreee with Mendtos but you could use a turbidity meter to measure the absorption.
