  • If it is a traditional home inspection that you commissioned, NO it is not a matter of public record. If, on the other hand, it is a City Mandated inspection such as a Truth-in-sale-of Housing or Point-of-Sale inspection, those ARE matters of public record. You as the seller also must disclose all pertinent information about the property. Why did you ask? Did you inspection reveal something that will impact the value of the property? If so, YOU MUST DISCLOSE IT!
