meh ~ other than natural disasters and random acts of violence, are there really all that many "shocking" moments anymore? sure, there are new events that come to light that might evoke surprise or dismay or give you a WTF? moment. but history has already revealed many of its shocking secrets and humankind has gone through some radical transformations in recent years. we're a little more shockproof i think. if i had to pick two shockers that have lost their shock appeal, id have to say howard stern & madonna. yawn.
