  • One bad brake caliper would (worst case scenario of a total leak) allow a fair bit of fluid to drain from the master cylinder, but it shouldn't cause the pedal to go to the floor. Modern vehicles use a two-system brake fluid distribution setup which sends fluid to the brakes in pairs. So, if one caliper malfunctions it should only affect the fluid designated for that pair. You would notice much more difficult braking but it shouldn't go to the floor. Check the master cylinder fluid levels and locate the fluid leak. Are you sure a caliper is causing it? Keep in mind that if a bleed screw is broken then fluid could easily leak out without the caliper being really broken. Good luck
  • check the fittings on the brake lines. that could cause air to get it in. if they can't figure it out, tell them that you'll take it to another shop and if they can fix it, that you want your money back or somethin
