  • That would be annoying - do you have a yard vac? May be worth investing in and save the carpets.
  • I had an old apple tree that would not produce a good fruit. they be 1 inch in diameter and begin to rot and fall to the ground. After three years of cleaning up its mess I finally cut it down. It made some sweet smelling firewood.
  • I have a native fig tree out the front which is massive and the birds and bats drop all the fuit and seeds over the driveway, it is a pain but atleast they get a feed ;0)
  • I have a tree that drops leaves in to my backyard. I wouldn't mind, but the concrete in my backyard has little rocks in it which makes it really hard to sweep.
  • No my tree's are polite and well mannered.
  • I don't have that problem. I don't wear shoes inside. Voila!!
  • I have a sweet gum tree that drops its seeds all over the yard and makes them weapons when I mow over them.
  • I have more than just one annoying tree right now. Every once in a while I hear a big crash of snow coming down. My trees are weaklings and just can't keep a firm grip for very long.
  • Actually yeah, several! We have two huge live oak trees straddling our driveway, and every year in the fall they drop TONS of leaves, like around 40 large trash bags full. In the backyard we have a tree which started out as some sort of weed-looking plant. It began as this single sapling maybe half an inch thick, which one day I pruned down to the root (it was rooted so firmly I couldn't yank it out). After a year or so, the thing is now a full-blown weed tree with like 12 branches and a trunk around 4 inches wide. What the hell, it's like some kind of alien plant that's made itself at home and refuses to die.
