What is the best way to workout free weights, calisthenics, or machines?

    the artist formerly known as triorion

    depends on your personal fitness goals. almost every exercise can be modified to easy, medium, or hard, as well. i prefer weightlifting, cardio, and kung fu, but i am trying to stay in athletic shape. someone just wanting to stay toned/healthy would hardly need to do so much, so something else would be better for their needs.

    I prefer calisthenics because I don't want to build muscles, I just want to keep toned. Also, I don't have access to weights or machines.
