Sure. Sleeping is okay. If you mean sex- no.Gentically speaking you have a pretty good chance at malformations or mental disorders. Morally, for me, they are family, and sexing with family is gross.BTW- sex is not a casual relationship.

Might not be a good idea to start a regular basis type relationship, or ever have children, and I'm not saying I would ever sleep with any of my cousins, but once does'nt do any particular harm, so long as a pregnancy does'nt occur from it. So my advice would be, if you've already done it, don't beat yourself up over it, if you're considering doing it, just take into mind what kind of problems, social and possibly tangible, this momentary lapse in judgement may cause later.

Well there's no need to feel bad about thinking about sleeping with your cousin. There's nothing wrong with fantasy..... but it would be best if you didn't ever act on it.It would get way too complicated. There's legal issues and issues about genetics if you have unprotected sex and then there's all the discrimination you're likely to receive from people. Even if you love him or her, just continue to love and leave it at that.

Some cultures actually promote mating with first cousins. Its not incest, incests is only in your direct linage parents siblings grandparents and children, which is definately not ok. First cousins mating genetically wouldn't cause more problems then a women having a child over 30. If you keep imbreeding then problems do happen. Its only a social construct.

Well, as long as you're both consenting adults, then there's nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't recommend having children due to how closely related you are, and other members of the family will most likely disapprove, but there's nothing morally wrong with it.

Firstly,if you just think your cousin is sexy, get over it and find somebody else.Rflagg above commented that sleeping with your cousin won't do much harm and this is true, especially if you never regret doing it. This i think is the most important factor in deciding to have sex or not! If you two truly love each other and have thought about all the possible consequences of being a couple such as discrimination etc. and you think you can face such things, then go ahead. However, do remember that you don't need to have sex to love your cousin and have a loving relationship with your cousin.

it all depends on whether or not you grew up with them. if you didn't - it's weird for western people but not too bad.. if you did- NO WAY!! remember- in lots of asian cultures it is okay to marry your cousin (my friend did) so obviously they'll have to consumate the marriage! if it's just a one-night thing- it's probably not worth the aggro you'll get but if you love them..what can you do? you certainly can't live your life by someone else's rules can you?

This is a good question..... I was adopted, but met my birth family when I was 25 years old, and have tons of 1st cousins, who are ALL absolutely beautiful. I'd be lying if I said I didn't have thoughts, because in my adopted family, I had no brothers or sisters, and only one cousin (a male.) It took at least a year & a half to stop wanting that, from them, and treating them as just cousins.
