Because its a beautiful city that has many interesting places to visit.There are many restaurants,cafes,bars, and a very good night life in clubs etc.The beers cheap the foods reasonably priced,and there is plenty of budget hotels for students.There's a good transport system which includes an underground,trams & buses.A weeks travel ticket costs approximately £5.50 ($7)and you can travel as many times as you like.There are also night buses when the trams stop operating.

Because it's a beautiful city that's still cheaper than most of the other capitals of Europe. . Also, it was mostly spared during WWII - so the old historical parts are still standing. . And of course... the best beer to be had. :-) .+5

I went there before, compared to places like Budapest its not as good. It was pretty but I didnt enjoy it beacause there were loads of stag parties everywhere. Budapest is WAY better!

Because it has both history /the old town is one of the best kept historical downtowns in the world) and modernity (relativelly cheap clubs, good beer).
