I call my mom Chia. It is just a thing that we worked up when I was younger. Think about this: When you go into a store and you say, "Mom?", how many women turn around? If your mother has a more common name and you call it, there are still quite a few answers. But if I'm somewhere and want to know where she is and I say "Chia?", my one and only parent turns around and answers.
