    I even founded an origami club at school with a friend.
    It turned into a half- paper aeroplane club! :-)

    I fold a mean paper aeroplane!

    By the way, it's "Origami" not "Oragami" ori is the verb base for fold, crease or break.

    i used to be good at origami when i was
    in primary, but the fun seemed to have
    rusted and so did the skills :(

    here's a website i found recently that
    shows step-by-step how to do origami..
    it's in Japanese though..

    Yes I can. But I've not tried my hand at it for a while. I guess I had my oragami phase and had folded little animals all over the place. (cranes, frogs, squirrels, etc)

    Yes, I used to know so many different animals to make. Of course the swan or crane which I learned in 2nd grade. But I made turtles, alligator, waterlily, all sorts of things. But I really need a book right in front of me to do well becasue I forget one fold and then it doesn't work. And great paper is such a blessing to use!

    I can make the swans and a few other things that some japanese girls at Summer TEFL school taught me.

    They can be so delicate and pretty when the girls make them themselves.

    Yes & I recommend the Origami page-a-day type calendars. One side of each page is patterned/colored paper & the other side has instructions - a different creation for each day of the year! Definitely an easy way to get started.

    I once had an Origami business but then it folded.

    <snicker>

    Seriously? I can pull off a paper airplane a paper hat a paper ninja star and as a pre-teen I used to be able to make those silly little open & close, pick-a-color-and-a-number-to-see-what-boy-ya-had-a-secret-crush-on thingamabobs but that's about the extent of my origami talent. ;o)

    Yes. It's very relaxing for me. And it transfixes small children when they are antsy in a restaurant or somewhere where they're supposed to be being quiet! They all like what most of us call "The Fortune Teller" and the balloon.
