  • I never thought of purple as girl colors. It's always been associated with royalty and strength to me. Pink maybe because it is soft and light compared to the stronger more passionate red. It used to be that all little children were dressed in light blue because it was thought to represent the Virgin Mary. And then around 1900s they used pink for boys since they thought it was a stronger color. In Belgium many years ago all little g8irls were in blue and boys were pink as late as the 50s when I was born. Blue was calm for girls, pink was associated with red. SO it's recent that pink was for girls and blue for boys, at least until after the 40s in the USA
  • Purple is not a girl color as it is in the blue and the red spectrum at the same time. Purple would be more of a Bisexual color for lack of a better word? Pink is in the red spectrum... Red is a masculine energy. So Im not sure how people assigned it to a girl Maybe because it is muted down with white... which is pure light? If anything... Blue is more female as it is healing, soothing, mothering and astringent.
