  • It’s a mad mad mad world. It’s very dated but all the various conflicts of human nature & the pure slapstick comedy are still funny.
  • No. Movies are not essentials. There are far more important "musts" that millions of people around the World lack. . . . That being said, I'd say that there are movies that are sort of essential for someone who is trying to learn our culture relative to movies. For example: Snow White. Citizen Kane (which, BTW, I've never seen.) 12 Angry Men. Etc.
