    Depth and understanding - to realize your potential as an embodied being,human sort.To keep from re-inventing the wheel - learn from other's experience.To stand within a 2500 year tradition of trying to make sense of it all,without recourse to the intellectual excuse called god.Because America has become such a money-obssesed whorehouse that studying the humanities is one way to flip off the dominant cultural paradigm
