Human from homo...meaning something indicating man
Being...state of existence...
Existing man/woman- Human Being...
"Human" comes from latin -homo- meaning something to do with man.
Samuel Johnson is recorded to be the first to use the word "being" although I don't know why he used being and I do not know who he is.
Well, there are green beings, shelled beings, pinto beings, even great northern beings -- then human beings. See?
