Question

Help answer this question below.

My homeowner’s insurance is being canceled on my house in Louisiana that was damaged by Katrina. The house has since been gutted and boarded up and all debris removed from the lot. The house is secure so can I just post No Trepassing signs?

You can post all the signs you want, but chances are, if it's shelter, people will move in. Are you moving away? Are you rebuilding?

If you want to keep squatters out you can get some fake skunk smell. It's like a liquid that you put in the rooms and keeps people out since it stinks. The only problem is that if you come back, you will need to find a way to remove it.

Sorry to hear about your situation by the way.

    Good luck,
    hope this helps
