They do have wedding, christening and funeral services, yes. But the primary object is to make money. That's a fact.

CofS (Church of Scn) missions deliver introductory courses and introductory to intermediate level auditing. Their "product" is to get people moved on to "higher orgs". Class V Orgs deliver introductory and intermediate training (courses) and auditing. Their product is to get people moved on to advanced or higher orgs. There are Saint Hill and Advanced Orgs which offer higher level training, OT levels, Ls, and so forth. At "Flag", all Scn "Services" are offered at a much much higher rate. Plus they really rook people paying for the accomodations. Every single CofS center, mission, Org, AO, Flag, etc, constantly recruits (tries to get people to join staff) and reges (tries to get people to buy more services) members and in addition there are fundraisers who come through for the IAS (international assn of Scientologists) to get contributions over and above that, for which nothing is offered in exchange. The whole thing is VERY much a money making machine. Members are constantly told that these courses and auditing are there to help them with life issues and to be happy, but as time goes on they are pushed to put their needs aside and live only for the good of the cult.

The main activities of Scientology churches and missions are ministering to their parishioners and providing them the religious services of their faith � Scientology auditing and training, Sunday services, weddings, funerals and christenings as well as other such chaplain services.
