if the green lights turn on and there still blinking and you cant control anything push the button on the xbox then push the button on the controller and then it will work.
1.) Make sure the batteries are AA size and are placed in correctly.
2.) If you have the USB cord that lets you play without batteries try that. This will let you know if its the controller or the batteries that has a problem.
3.) Try running it through the dishwasher on extra tough setting. If this doesn't work give it 3mins in the microwave. :P

Why do i need to buy the Xbox router if i want wireless online play? cant i just hook up a separate router and an Ethernet cable to my Xbox?
