Outback Steakhouse! I love that place. We go ther every year for my birthday! :)
Jeez I've been to a number of great restaurants. The BEST one I've ever eaten at was this very small restaurant between Venice and Rome in Italy, somewhere along the way. We stopped in the tiny village and ate at this wonderful place.
The first course consisted of a huge tray of amazing meats (prosciutto, salami, etc.) and cheeses. They had the BEST raviolli I've ever had. The food was absolutely amazing. All Italian food since then has tasted... mediocre.
Just thinking of it makes me drool.

A place called It's About Thyme. It's a small place in Culpeper, Virginia that is FABULOUS. The food and service are both excellent and they also make a killer hot and spicy apple cider.
I pulled this off a tourism guide:
This lovely cafe in historic Downtown Culpeper serves up european country cuisine in a casual, old-world atmosphere. Owner John Yarnel works side by side with his daughter Joclyn, a graduate of the Paris branch of Le Cordon Bleu. Guests enjoy generous portions and delectable appetizers, salads, and entree choices like the the four-herb, rotisserie-roasted, pasture-raised chicken.
California Pizza Kitchen! The chicken caesar salad and the pizzas are light but tasty and satisfying!

There's an awesome restaurant in Farmington Hills, MI, called Tribute. I can't afford to eat there often, but it's the best! (www.tributerestaurant.com) I think the last time I ate there, my dinner alone was $150! (It WAS 22 courses, though!)

If I was loaded, I would eat at Legal Seafoods all the time. Since I am not loaded, have only eaten there once. As far as romance, if they don't allow me to get nude and have sex on the table, a public restaurant is not romantic for me.

I love Bonefish Grill. Their food is excellent and they are very accommodating when it comes to my dietary restrictions.
The restaurant I work in has some pretty good food usually. I've never tried anything from the fine dining menu, but it looks absolutely incredible when it comes out of the kitchen. I eat there mostly because it's free, LOL, and I'm poor.
But if I'm going out somewhere that I'm going to pay for, I usually go to this Mexican food joint called El Charro and get the taco salad and some chips and salsa with guacamole dip. The food is pretty decent and you can have dinner for two for less than twenty bucks.
An indian resturant in the uk called neelakash
Either the Olive Garden or Red Lobster.
There's this steakhouse called Ruth's Chris. Their steak is the best I've ever had, their creamed spinach is great, and I love their desserts.
