Emeters in CofS are now thousands of dollars. The cult keeps beefing them up, making changes, fancier packaging, they claim the new ones are faster and they cost several thousand bux. I have one I paid over 2000.00 USD (from back when I was in the church of Scn. I'm no longer a member) for and they're way more expensive now, I hear, and have been supposedly improved a few more times.
The actual parts are not that expensive. Not 15.00, though, I don't think.
There are people who've created their own versions and they are much cheaper and are said to be just fine.
