Hello there. I am sorry to hear of your diagnosis. I hope you are taking it easy and keeping your spirits up. Prednisolone is known to cause some muscle weight gain (and then again, you may not gain anything), but since your condition is known to cause weight LOSS, I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Try to not focus on weight and focus more on healing and positive thoughts. Don't be afraid to eat - you will need it for energy and to keep your body moving.

You're reading I am 33, I weigh 115 lbs. and I have just been diagnosed with Lupus, Monday, 12/15, I was put on 5 Mg. Prednisone(a type of Steroid), 1 1/2 a day, for the rest of my life. Does anyone know if I will gain weight, if it will be a little a lot.
