  • I would ask a doc, I'm 6'8 and I can't say I ever experienced pain, especially pain that I'd call crippling.
  • Definitely go to a doctor. It might just be growing pains, but you could also have an injury or other problem that a doctor could identify and potentially fix.
  • If you are running as an excercise you may have shin splints which is best treated with rest and pain killers but it would be best to see your doc!
  • Don't actually stop growing until you hit early 20's on average. Shin splints are also a possibility, hard to tell on that without seeing it or knowing what kind of activity you engage in during a day. Doesn't much sound like fibromyalgia but as others said, if it doesn't go away in a week or two, you can only be properly diagnosed by a professional in person.
