My vagina is really dry, itchy, irritated, burning, and hurts when I pee. it is constant bothersome.

Sounds like a yeast infection, but has the possibility of being an STD. Seek medical attention.

I am having the same exact problem. I've had yeast infections before (I get one every time I take an antibiotice) and these symptoms are NOTHING like it. Also, I am married, have been for 5 years so the posibility of it being an STD is impossible (trust me on this one). I wish someone had found out what it was, UTI, Vaginosis? I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday so I guess I will post after that and let everyone know!

I have had this eact same problem.But I have been experiencing these symptons from an early stage of my life.Ever since I was in Primary,I've always known that my Vagina was always itchy,especially when I used soap.My mum has taken me to numerious Doctors Appointments but it could never seem to go away.I am now 28 years old,and this problem has never left me.I had even gone to the health clinic to check if I had STD,but it came back negative.I went to my Family GP a couple of weeks ago,he examined me then explained that I could be experiencing THRUSH and that I had a bad case of DRY-SKIN.Canestsein cream works wonders,I haven't yet tried the tablet,but it feels like heaven having not to scratch and feel comfortable during the day,especially in public.

I have the same symtoms n i get it all tym especially at night....i went to the doctors about and they did a whole lot of tests on me and they all cam back and i never found out was rong with me...im going to go back to the doctors if i find anything out ill let you know....you myt just be allergic to the soap or tissue. xx

i have the exact same symptoms, i have been worryin about it for a while. It seems to be certain times of the night and morning i wake up itchin and its not just a little scratch. I find it inflamed and very painful yet wen i put cream on it, it feels a little better. have i got an std ?

It is pretty obvious that, you have a vaginal infection. Probably a yeast infection. If you have been on anti biotics in the past year that can be the cause. It kills off the PH balance in the vagina and causes the itching and the yeast infection. Here is a simple treatment. This actually came from my Doctor. Use a teaspoon of plain yogurt and insert it vaginally at least once a day for a week. After the very first time it will cool and calm the itching. I know it sounds crazy but it works. When he first told me to use yogurt, I thought he meant eat it, well it never did much of any thing. So I finally learned that it was supposed to be used vaginally and was amazed that it worked

If a women is exposed to hsv1 through a man who has had a cold sore before or a man who is a carrier of my cold sore virus, she can get the cold sore virus on her vulva. The symptoms would be little cracks or tears whereever he put his mouth and anywhere his salavia went. So this would be above the clit, the folds of the labia, and the perinum area- as the salvia would pool to these parts. It might also itch and feel uncomfortable. It might reoccur right before your period or whenever you have a lot of friction in that area. HSV1 is hard to culture when its minor. A blood test isnt helpful because most people test positive due to oral exposure when they were young. The best thing to do is wait and let your body handle the virus. In time, maybe a couple years or so, it should become much better. HSV1 doesnt do well below the belt. Oh- if you have a cut, u might want to get it cultured for hsv1, although it make take many cultures to get it. btw, hsv1 is not hsv2- the virus that causes genital herpes. Hsv2 causes blisters and is more severe

i have the same thing except it is just itchy now, although it was dry. i am only 17, i have got a boyfriend and have been with him for nearly 7 month ant ideas wot it could be? could it just be an infection as it only itches wen i wake up in the morning and when i go to bed at night, and some times during the day. even though it isnt that bad now. what do yo think ?

Eeekkk! I could have a yeast infection too or an std! :-o omg! Cuz I feel like I have a cut on one side of my vagina, and that cut burns when I pee. I'm so scared to tell my boyfriend to go get checked too :(

i have the same problem , im only 14 and i dont think its a std acuse i havent had sex or been in contact with something i could pick it up from , the itching drives me absolutley crazy its soo imbarrssing in public to have to keep itching and wearing tights at school really sets it off it is runing my life ... my mum just thinks my legs itch but im too imbarresed to tell her its actually my vagina area , but i really need to get it sorted out cause i cant stand it anymore what should i do ?
