GoPhones are SIM locked and will only work with GoPhone plans. If you convert your plan to a GoPhone plan, you can use a GoPhone. You would be better off purchasing a refurbished phone from AT&T (on line) or buying a SIM unlocked, quad band GSM phone and then your SIM card will work with this. It will also work with a used AT&T or Cingular phone that is not SIM locked. I hope this helps. Thanks. SukiSue

You're reading I just signed a att plan 6mo ago and i've destroyed my phone with no insurance. can i purchase a go phone and put my old sim card in it to make it work on my existing plan?
