More power to them. I prefer that to teens dressing like older women :o)
-
I think they need to grow up and realize its not about attracting attention anymore.
-
I dont see a problem with it. I personally think teens dress way to adultish.
-
In some cases I feel sorry for them. I think they are trying to hold unto their youth.
-
To each their own as long as it doesn't affect me
-
As long as they look good dressed that way....
-
i say live and let live, as long as it makes them happy and doesnt hurt anyone else (especially their kids)!
-
I think it is slightly off.I have helped a lot of my customers who are in their early forties and late thirties do a complete makeover and now they dress well and look really great.'Dress well and be self confident and love yourself but do not try to imitate the younger generation in their dress sense!'Frankly they do not have a guide who can help them with the dressing hence they may be doing that! But I have seen they loose the direction after having a few kids and so they should take care of themselves and keep trim and fit and dress well.
-
Oh Rose, does that mean I should hang up my tube top and Daisy Dukes!!!???
-
I think in moderation that it is ok. I do think that trying to reinvent that past can be unhealthy and could lead to major problems.
-
i think they need a stylist.
-
As long as they still look pretty good, I don't see a problem with it.
-
I guess they are just trying to recapture their youth and it simply does not work for them. Like Stacey and Clinton say, no mini skirts after 35.
-
Its disgusting!
-
I hope I don't have to give up my denim mini skirts!
-
I think that whatever they choose to wear is just fine..I don't really care. :)
-
Doesn't bother me. I enjoy a good chuckle.
-
i can never tell a women's age ... cuz they all look young and hot to me ... giggggggity ... LoLz ... ^_^
-
sad...even worse when they are a mom.
-
As long as they look like they did when they were teens, I am fine with it . . .
-
I think they look silly.
-
mutton dressed as lamb is never a pretty sight
-
It just depends on the woman. It's possible to pull off but certainly a huge challenge. I personally don't see anything wrong with wearing a short skirt after 35 if you keep yourself in great shape and go to the gym constantly. The problem is too many women just let themselves go and it takes more and more work to maintain with age. I'm 27 and would feel silly to dress like a teen, in Abercrombie or something. I feel sexy when I look polished, trim and mature. If I don't look like someone off of Girls Gone Wild oh well. At least that way I weed out the borderline pedophiles! lol
-
It looks silly. And, what's worse is, they try to act like them, too.
-
i think its terrible unless they dont look old, like my mum, she's a milf, her name is Bella on answerbag lol ;)
-
I think, no older woman is trying to look 16yrs old. The younger fashion style appeals to them, rather than the frumpy old style clothes.
-
Mid life crisis.
-
they need to grown up most teens dress like sl*ts anyway
-
Just women trying to be teens again while having fun.
-
People should be able to wear what's comfy and fun for them. If you aren't pleased by it then discretely look away. People are entirely to image conscious and it is rather silly. I once was with friends when I was a good deal younger and there was a much older woman dressed in some form fitting clothing and a very young leather pilots jacket. Some of the girls were making some rather catty remarks about how the woman "ought to look her age" So, being curious about the woman and embarrassed by the girls I struck up a conversation with the woman. Turns out she was one of the first woman pilots in our area and was still flying. She was well past sixty and dressed like a much younger woman. She was also amazing, smart, talented and had done much more in her life than the snippy little bitches who thought being young and perky was a talent. Wear what you'd like!
-
If they still have good body - it's not a problem for me :)
-
I'm not sure what you mean by dress "like a teen". Are there clothes that older people don't belong in? As long as an older person is dressed reasonably modestly, I don't see a problem, even if the style looks young. (But then, the same goes for teens!) In that regard, I don't see what difference it makes.
-
Attention freaks.
-
I really believe it's a mid life thing. Refusing to face the fact they're getting older. Some can do it...others really should look in the mirror.
-
If she's my mom, I would cry...
-
People should dress anyway they want to as long as they realize people will react to them partly based on how they look.
-
It makes me sick when I see moms trying to be "in" with their daughters and look like them and their friends. Grow up. Not only that but it looks like pure trash, they're so much hotter when they dress their age. You can still dress sexy without dressing like a skany ass sophomore.
-
It depends on the person-but I think choice of dress is a personal thing. Therefore wear what you feel is right and looks good.
-
My thought is irrelevant, because If I attempted to think in reaction, my initial impression would be what is the persuasion she's emphasizing, and I have no control over the elderly, there wise in there placement, uniformed in depenz
-
i think they need to grow up!!
-
if they are like older older they must think they are younger then they are if around early twenties they have to catch up with the styles
-
They usually have teenage daughters that wont let them wear anything else
-
if they are like older older they must think they are younger then they are if around early twenties they have to catch up with the styles
-
TRASHY!
-
I really don't care!!
-
The expression for that at Home is "mutton dressed up as Lamb"
-
I think it's a little sad-looking. They're trying! They feel good in their bodies--it's just that we (being the general population) have no desire to see their bodies...
-
very sad. insecure. would not date her.
-
Mutton dressed as lamb. Icky.
-
that they are afraid of appearing old. And that shows major insecurity, which is not attractive at all.
-
My mom does... kinda... we have the same sense of style... i'm sixteen and she's 44. But that's because I wear stuff that's older than my age as well, so... but she wears mini skirts and bras with fishnet and super high heels... i don't personally like it cuz shesm my momm, but... she's going out to clubs and dancing...im not going to keep her from having fun if she wants to embarass herself, whatever...
-
What do I think? I think that anyone of whatever age, sex, IQ or paraentage should wear whatever they feel comforatable wearing.
