I listened to a radio interview with an Australian author who had a book released in the US some time after it had been written. He didn't really like it, so had forgotten the details. During his first US interview he found that the DJ had analysed his book, so he just agreed with every statement made and appropriated the whole thing for use in his remaining interviews! Win/Win! : )
