Help answer this question below.

I hear a loud humming sound coming from the back of my car and it gets louder at high speeds. What is causing this?

    The cause is problably the last mechanic to work on it. Idiot's still under there scratching his head, lol!

    What model and year is you vehicle?

    Check for missing, loose, damaged or rubbing exhaust system hangers and mounts. It could be your rear differential. Check fluid level type and amount. Replace the fluid with the recommended type and amount of lubricant. Check the differential bearings for wear or damage. Remove the bearings, inspect the drive and driven gears for wear or damage, and replace components as necessary.

    it could just be a a checked tire. try rotating your tires and see if the noise moves up front.
