For me it has to be Christopher Lee. I remember the Hammer House of Horror films with Peter Cushing as Van Helsing. They used to scare me rotten.

I think Christopher Lee because I'm British Bela Lugosi would probably have been more widely available to American audiences. But as far as vampires in general go Chris Sarrandons portrayal in "Fright night"(1985) was pretty sexy check it out.

Let me share a little incident. I was at the state fair with my family; we were standing in line for the haunted house. They had a 'vampire' guy that walked along greeting people. This dude had to be at least 40, but his skin and hair were that of a very young man. His voice was very unnerving. I told him that I believed he was an excellent representation of Dracula and asked jokingly if he was a vampire. He turned to me and stated, all to confidently, "could you think of a better place for me to do my work?" It was chilling. To this day is bothers me, a little. He was just too immaculate to be real. True story!

Zach Braff as Dr. John Dorian as Dr. Acula

I do not know the man's name. The movie was in black and white. I remember thinking he was extremely hot and sexy. He also had a role much later in his life (no longer sexy lol) in the movie "The American President". In that movie he was the villain who was left sitting alone in front of the TV during what was supposed to be a Rumson victory of sorts. President Shepard gave his speech about Syndey Allen Wade being way out of Rumsons league. If anyone knows who I am talking about.......please tell me his name. LOL
