Question

Help answer this question below.

I'm considering buying a 1994 Honda Accord. The owner just had a new timing belt and engine work done last year, but now the car won't accelerate past 20 mph. What could that be, and about how much would it cost to get fixed?

Sounds to me like the car is one notch out of time. I've had it happen to me. The price to fix it could vary greatly.
