A bottle of highly alcoholic 2003 Sam Adams Utopias beer - rare as hen's teeth now, it's the best after-dinner drink I have ever tasted. Smooth, like a fine cognac, in a gorgeous bottle, and meant to be sipped in tiny doses. Limited to around 8000 bottles or so... It was $180 last year, and they are running anywhere between $250-$400 on eBay now when you can find it at all. Phenomenal.
Of course, since it would violate a number of states' laws to ship this to me, it was bought purely for the asthetic value of the bottle and the contents were merely coming along for the ride. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

I bought a really cool 1975 dune buggy. It's on a full VW chassis. It's a kit car. It's called a mini T I believe.
It looks just like the one pictured below except it's metal fleck green with a black top!

It had no bids yet and the minimm was 99 pence so I figured what the heck, bid and won.
