  • Have you asked them? That would be my first choice. Then you will probably have to sue him to get it moved if you want it that bad and he won't give it up. Speak to a lawyer if you need to.
  • It depends on how long its been there, if it's been more than a couple years (varies state to state, for michigan i believe it's 2 years) then there's this thing called squatters rights. Basically if you put a permanent structure on someone else's property and they don't do anything about it soon enough, the property legally becomes yours. So if it's been too long, they can claim squatters rights and it's theirs. It sounds to me like the land is theirs because of how long it's been there, but they may have to know about squatters rights in order to claim it.
