It could be only an infraction and will be on your traffic record. If its a misdemeanor in your state, it could also show up in your criminal history. But since you had the option to pay and not appear in court, I would think it will just stay on your traffic record.
Can you attach items like gps and sat. radios to your windshield in North Carolina and are there limitations as to where they may be placed?

How do you get a record expunged in north carolina? I got an assault on a government official charge,and I have 2 children to support but can't get a job due to this charge that happened 2 years ago.

You're reading I just recently recieved a citation for under 21 possession of alcohol in NC. Officer didn't breathelize me but wrote a citation and marked that I didn't have to appear in court if I paid it on time. Is there any other punisments as long I pay on time?
