What happened to all the "manly" men? I'm talking about the Clint Eastwood, Sean Connery types? Many men these days are more interested in their hair than in their women! Please guys, do tell.

Those guys grew up in a different time and actually loved the art of acting instead of the money involved. They only concerned themselves with the art and not their looks.

They have good health care because of their money, that's not an option for everyone. In the real world, there is no "cut" from the director and if you get hurt there are consequences and money involved. Also... the men that are "manly" are told to be be more sensitive because they can't cater to the emotional frailty of what seems like everyone nowadays. It's all about lack of sensitivity.

Don't forget. Manly also means hard drinking, poorly educated womanizing and emotionally distant SOB. Oh, and all the manly jobs are gone to third world countries, so the Manly-Men-Who-Do-Manly-Things-With-Their-Manly-Hands are flipping burgers on the night shift to make ends meet. But you can buy stuff cheaper at Walmart, so I guess it evens out.
