Help answer this question below.

We all like good manners. However, do you get annoyed at people who are too polite? (For example, I once worked with a guy and on the job he told me thank you at least 100 times in one day.)

    I can become annoyed with things such as you describe and will, sometimes, politely ask the person to stop.

    However, I prefer that to the other option: bad manners.

    Yes like this particular AB member who has to write Very Truly Yours at the end of each answer and comment. He likes to make himself Look polite, but in reality he is a judgemental jerk.

    Yes, I like good manners but some people are a bit too Ned Flanders about it, in the same way that some people are TOOOO nice, to the extent it gets a bit creepy.

    I know what you mean. I hate when people are rude all of the time...I deal with clients like that. But, when someone is just TOO polite all of the time, it seems fake or forced. It makes me wonder if they are hiding something, you know?

    haha, yeah definitely, I use to work with a guy that would say Hi every time you walked past him. Didn't matter if it was just 2 minutes ago. That got real old real fast.
