Help answer this question below.

My 90 Civic DX Reaches proper temp and stays there as long as I am accelerating or going uphill. The moment I let off the power, typically heading downhill (even minor grades), the temp drops down to cold. Gas milage also dropped signicantly last tank.

    I'd say you might need a new thermostat.
