i love techno,old school punk,reggae,metal,ambient,alternative...and some country and rap.

I'm all about house and electronic music. I really love almost all forms, so I can't say I hate anything, but I'm not a big fan of country. I like some of it, but it's probably my least favorite.

I dig Americana/roots rock, indie rock (REAL indie...not major label masquerading as underground. Think Sebadoh, Olivia Tremor Control..etc etc), folky stuff, and classical. I abhor "Nu metal" and mainstream modern rock.

I Like Punk,...new and old, Reggae, Hip Hop, a little country, a little ska, and some alternative. I hate Techno and Rap yes there is a defference between hip hop and rap!

Prefer old techno, some glitter, old punk(ramones, Blondie, boomtown rats)metal, alternative, modern country and of course 60'S ROCK 70'2 ROCK, 80'S ROCK, 90'S ROCK - ROCK! I hate hip hop.

Preference: I like softer rock, techno, pop/rock, some screamo-ish stuff, and indie. yeah, mostly indie, and anything with a piano. Hate: i'm not in to that whole "emo" thing where its like "cut my wrists until I die, and you can drink my blood while we hate ourselves in the basement...and take pictures of our cut wrists and stuff and put it on myspace and write blogs about how our lives are such s***" though. I really hate that. Like a lot.

I love all kinds! Trance/Electronic Punk-Classic Rock-Indie Rock-Rock-Metal-Hardcore Classical such as Yo-Yo Ma and whatever genre Frank Sinatra would be in. Classical Guitar solos and electric Jazz New Age (Enya) Alternative Some Country but not much, I love Johnny Cash and such. Gospel & Religious (DC TALK-JARS OF CLAY) I like Hip Hop but not Rap Oldies Some Operas Pop Reggae

I LOVE: rock, alternative, some techno, punk, pop/rock, or bubble-gum rock as some like to call it, some metal hard core rock, alittle rap, but I prefer hip-hop over rap! I HATE: most country, old school rap/and most rap. I don't hate a whole lot I like different varieties of music.

Well my favorite music out there is Bachata (spanish)...i can never get enough of it. I dont hate other music genre, I used to hate rock but i've found some rock music that has caught my attention. i am open to any genre, as lonf as you're talented and can catch my attention.

I like pretty much everything, but prefer hard rock. I don't HATE country exactly, but I haven't found any of it that I like.

I'm into rap/hip-hop, alternative music, indie rock, some jazz and alot of rock & roll. I'm not a fan of country (though I do know a couple of songs in this genre, I admit, lol) and I enjoy reggae, hence my Bob Marley avatar. I have no preference, because all of them shape my mood in an instant. Feeling good? Hip-Hop. Upset? Rock & Roll. Grounded and calm? Alternative. When I want to explore new music? Indie Rock. Sleep? Jazz. Dance? Well, all of them, but mainly reggae, because I can get creative. All of these types of music play a part in my life and help me get through alot of things. So, in short, I prefer any music that's good :)

My taste in music is diverse, however I really do not like the trend that started in the late 90's of unoriginal, Pop 40, underdressed, underaged, nasally, vibrato-scaling, walking brand advertisements... Whoa, 'tell us how you really feel MommaBear'... lol

My favourite music is screamo/hardcore but I also love emo, pop punk and a bit of metal and indie. I don't like country and I don't like most rap and dance music.

New Country Music, the one that started around 1989. I don't like rap music. I like black music from the 50's. and 60's. My favorite song form that period is "The Great Pretender", from The Platters.

I like alternitive rock, R&B,and Gospel, I hate that dark goth muic, country its so boring, and Rap it just isnt singing its people who cant talk to a beat,and also that disney crap it just sucks.

I love punk music. The Misfits, Black Flag. I also love My Chemical Romance. However, I can not stand rap music. I don't understand how people can listen to it. It's just this guy talking fast to a beat. That's it.

I hate country, mostly because my mom loves it, and it was blasted in my ears throughout my life. I like any type of music with the word punk in it, and 99% of rock. I am indifferent on screamo, because some of it has very little screaming (I don't have a problem with it if its screaming once in a song, or very little of it at all.) But mostly, I prefer it to be no screaming. That isnt singing.

I'd have to say Punk, Rock, Metal, and some other styles... mostly PUNK tho... AFI used to be the best... they have cut down on their intensity tho... their old music is still sweet.

Some of everything. I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton, Dire Straits, The Shaddows, Queen etc. I love the Killers and a few other "popular" indie bands. You can't beat some good old cheesey pop - reminds me of my childhood. Gotta love Disney! Euphoric dance music is great when in a club, won't listen to it anywhere else. Some country is ok, when I'm feeling mellow. I'm into unusual stuff - Enya, Adiemus, film soundtracks, classical spanish guitar. I don't really like listening to Rap as it makes me stressed but I really admire Eminem, I know I couldn't do that. Not a fan of Hip Hop and I really hate Jazz. Other than that I will pretty much listen to whatever is on and enjoy it, for the most part.

This is a very broad answer to a pretty specific question. Today I mostly listen to what I like to call "angry youth music".. (Alternative Rock). When I am sentimental, I like lounge and folk music (Englebert Humperdinck, Gordon Lightfoot)... When I am feeling sophisticated (deep cleaning the house makes me feel this way), I like Bach and Mozart. 80% of the time, it's pretty much 7 Mary Three, Incubus, ICP, Three Doors Down, etc...

i tend to stick to the rock genre, anywhere from metal(like all that remains) to classic (like def leppard). but occasionally i get this really bad itch and i get stuck on one band for like 2 months straight(my last was Coheed and Cambria). other times (rarely) i listen to some rap (techn9ne). and i also like certain broadway productions (Wicked). it all depends on my mood

I don't like rap, country, or hip hop, or most pop since now lately pop is turning more hip hop-y if thats even a word. Anyways, I prefer Indie, Rock, Metal, Punk, some classical but it has to be dark, and other songs under different genres that I cant really specify but those are the main ones.
