My dog is in heat and got blood all over my white down comfoter. How can i get the blood out? The blanket is only dry clean.

    I'd call up the dry cleaners to see what they can do....but you can always buy a duvet cover to cover it up!

    Take it to the dry cleaners, and do NOT pretreat it with ANYTHING before doing so!

    Try a little bid of peroxide, just pour a little and let dry and then take it to the cleaners. Peroxide works really good on blood stains, you can't go wrong with it.

    Probably too late for you to try, but in the future, get ECOVER stain remover. then try cold water spot scrub by hand or take to dry cleaners. I think this is an enzyme stain remover or something I got at my health food store. It really works like nothing else I have ever used. I too am suffering with my puggle's first heat but I felt she was too young to be spayed before a year old. Should totally clean up. Best wishes!
