Oxi-Clean. It will take the stain out, guaranteed. And any other stains you have. It always works.

As the PP said, Oxyclean is awesome! Buy a tub of it at your local mart or grocery store in the detergent aisle. Make sure it's the powder not the spray. Fill the bathtub or sink with very very hot water and dissolve a couple generous scoops per gallon of water. Then put the clothing in and soak overnight. Wash in cold in the morning and inspect the clothing BEFORE drying. If there are still stains repeat as needed before drying.

Please not that this works best with lights and this will fade certain brights. It's best to only soak like colors.

This should remove even the toughest stains! Good luck!

I don't think that the age of a person matters, though the type of stain does, when trying to remove old stains from clothes. As hard as it is to believe I've even been successful at removing stains from clothes that were washed several times. What worked for me (an adult) was to pre-soak the garment for at least a few hours in the wash water then repeatedly scratch (while stretching the stained area) and dip the garment back in the the wash water, scratching and dipping the front and back sides of the stained area. Some hard work but it pays off if you want to get the stain out, well at least for me.
