Yes, "morning sickness" should actually have been named "whenever it feels like hitting you" sickness. It's normal to feel sick at any time, it's just depending on your hormone fluctuation. Eat something dry and salty, Saltines or Pretzels are very good, and drink as much water as you can.

Well dear morning sickness does not always happen in the mornings. You can be sick at anytime during the day. When you feel it coming on sit down and put your feet up and nibble on something like saltine crackers or a little peanut butter. When you are feeling better then you can get up and move around again. This always helped me and I would get sick at all different times of the day. Good luck to you dear.

Yes, it's true. Morning sickness can strike at any time. The best you can do is to eat small frequent meals. This not only stabilizes blood sugar, but stomach acid levels also. It's no guarantee against the increasing hormones causing nausea, but it may help you to feel better and avoid heartburn later.

I found that chocolate milk worked well for me. It was tasty and if it came back right away, it was still cold and didn't burn my throat like juice. If it stayed down, I would eat a little. Good luck with the pregnancy!

I believe morning sickness came in because many women get sick after having not eaten for long periods and this would be very common in the mornings. However, it can hit any time of day and can be triggered just by smells. A co-worker gets sick when she smells formula. I couldn't handle any perfumes. Eat small snacks throughout the day and try to rest when your body tells you to rest. You will begin to feel much better in a few months as your appetite and your energy return.

Everyone is giving some good answers, so you know it happens when ever. I just wanted to give you some advise. you can try crackers. And always have water handy. it really hurts to throw up and not have anything to throw up. Also a little trick a I learned after I had surgery is that a cold wet rag on the back of my neck took away nausia.

Thats evening sickness. Its the opposite of morning sickness and only happens in opposite-pregnancy. This means whatever kids you have had already will hop back in there and start to shrink back into egg form.

Morning sickness can happen at anytime during the day, or night. It's just a term. Anytime is normal.
Try eating smaller meals more often. Don't let your stomach become empty.

I noticed how only one person managed to mention about the early sickness.

Its the hormone change within your body, it creates such a change that it is hard to pin point when exactly in a person it should happen. Everyone is completely different.

If you are really worried then go to your GP! He will be much more of a help than us on AB can every be!

    Congratulations on the pregnancy!
