  • Whats happened is theres a scratch on the CD (not a problem with the memory card). To fix this problem try wiping off the CD and try it agin. If the game still won't save then you can take the CD to your local video store or game shop and ask to have it cleaned.
  • no man you get corrupted data which can be fixed by formating your memory card and that can only be done on a unnformated memory card or go to your local game store
  • Here's how I found out to recover corrupted PS2 games. The game has to be out of the console and then close it. with TV and console on, When BROWSER appears on tv push The TRIANGLE Button. Then select SYSTEM OR CONSOLE(older models have diff. wording) and then press X button.Turn "ON" DIAGNOSIS. Push X again I believe and then replace the game you're having problems with. You can restart the game and it should run smoothly with nothing lost. It's worked several times for me on LEGO'S Batman. GOOD LUCK. You can call the 800 number for playstation which you can get online and they can walk you thru it also.
  • In addition to my last answer, you can call 1-800-345-7669. Choose option #4 ,then option#1 then option#1 again for help with corrupted games or go online to www.us.playstation.com/support. Hope this helps
