The same reason Arnold Schwarzenegger was a rapist and a member of the Third Reich, stardom and scandals are like, penis and vagina. It sells. People magazine, Times, whatever you want, it's like phantom publicity if you ask me. If this stuff was really true, I doubt that these people would be free right now. Nobody else who does this stuff and get caught is, and while OJ may have a lot of money and good lawyers, that didn't help him much. The bad stuff some of these people really do and might get away with remains behind doors I'm sure, the rest is "entertainment" for the masses.

This kind of assumption cracks me up. Michael Jackson IS THE SAME PERSON he was during the Thriller album. Back then, he dressed wierd, had llamas, and did all the wierd things he does now. Only then, people thought eccentricity was cool because it was the 80s, and now it's conformist central. Nothing changed but public opinion and skin color, which has nothing to do with his sexual behavior. Honestly, I don't think Jacko is a pedophile considering both of his accusers came from criminal families that extorted money for a living. However, if he ever did molest kids or commit crimes, it would obviously have nothing to do with his skin color and he would have always been that way.
