The best way to spot a knock-off is to know how the authentic version looks, feels, and smells. You can go to the authentic shop and receive service from one of the assistants. Have them educate you on why the quality of their bag warrants the pricey tag. Then take note of the stitching, the quality of the lining, the quality of the zipper(s), and of course ensure the logo is correct. An authentic bag is like a perfectly tailored suit, the major differences are in the minor details.
