A classic example of how our beliefs filter our perceptions; we see it all, but we remark only what confirms us.
One out of three is not a very good answer. And people chose what they want to see.
There's a difference between objective observations and sweeping generalizations. Your overly defensive state regarding your answer certainly is interesting though.
