When purchasing stocks for trading only does your position get filled quicker if you purchase 100 shares 200 or 500?

    It should not matter how many stocks you purchase, the buy order should be processed nearly instantly. Sometimes, a stock that has a lower daily trade volume will take a bit longer but it should go through within minutes regardless of the number of shares.
