Help answer this question below.

My female chihuahua is showing signs of pregnancy, but she was never left alone with my male. She wore a puppy diaper during her heat cycle (which was around Thanksgiving this year). Her vulva is normal sized, but her nipples are huge. False pregnancy?

    I took her in on Tuesday, but the vet was not sure whether she was pregnant or not. She wants to do an ultrasound in order to figure out or not if she's conceived.

    she may be showing false pregnancy. If Thanksgiving week was when she was fertile then has she mated she would be due within the next week. You would notice enlarged uterus (stomach area). If you are not sure, please take her to a vet or to someone who is familiar with pregnancy in toy breeds to have her checked.
