I would like to think so. However my books are mainly Christian books like commentaries, concordance, etc. Most of other books were donated to our local library.

I just sold over 250 books to a used book store. I have about 100 stored at my mother's place. 100 stored at my cousin's place. In the last 5 years I have given away about 75 books. Presently in my home I have 168 books. I must get another bookcase.

No I'm not a reader, maybe later in life I will but for now all I have time for is short stories and I'm sure that I'm not going to read a book while on vacation!

I have and I have made the Rubber Stamps and marked all the books.
I have even cataloged them.
It is something like a family heirloom to which I keep adding.

- Well - I must do it. And I hop my sons will continue the tradition. Some of the books are the law books of my great grand father from the 19th Century.
  No practical value except for the emotional attachment to them. If my sons are not interested I will have to donate the whole collection to any University Library willing to accept them.

Ignorant question. By definition the books you have are your personal library (generic library is not a proper noun so is not capitalized). ;-)

- The books you have, whether it's one or 100,000 are your personal library. It's not a matter of "having enough books ...to start your...".
  
  Why did you capitalize "library"? If it were the New York City Public Library it would be a proper noun (ie name) and appropriately capitalized. Otherwise it's your personal library. Like your front lawn, not your front Lawn.
