No, I think we've done a fine enough job of that by ourselves.
-
there are more important things to worry about
-
He certainly hasn't done it any favors.
-
No, Americans have.
-
We Americans have to take responsibility. Bush flamed out in his 2nd term big time, no doubt. But I know personally so many of people here that are so honest, soulful, and so caring. Our image has been damaged, but the majority of the population here still cares deeply and gives generously.

No. He and the neo-cons want to make a South American country out of us, but this last election proved that the American people still have enough of the old ideals in them not to let that happen. I'm really proud to be an American now. For 8 years I was not.
-
We Americans began the job and GWB finished it off.
-
In a word, YES!
-
no

He certainly didn't help the image. It certainly has become quite tarnished in the last few years.
-
i'm sorry to say i'm proud that i wasn't born as american and i did for living only

NO WAY! we did that on our own, ok! ☺
-
Yes, absolutely.
-
the US is greater than any one man. if we can survive the mental image of president clinton getting a blow-job in the oval office, we can survive anything
-
Whether the image of America before Bush was wholly positive or negative, Bush did give off a very bad image of America. While he was in power people would look back and compare that America to the America under Clinton. The one under Clinton was seen to be much better. Bush didn't make America the most popular country on Earth that's for sure. Have to say - Bush isn't only responsible for the negative image of America. American people are too, and not just for any support they once gave Bush. Any positive image American people have now isn't solely down to Obama either. We realise that the actions and views of the President are not synonymous with those of the people. For better, or worse. Whoever is responsible, the image is not destroyed beyond repair.
-
Only because he let Dick Cheney pull his strings.
-
How so? America has been the world's policeman since WWII. And the 'ugly American' has been legend since before I was born.
-
Nothing that Obama can't fix, he is, after all, our newest American Idle!!
-
No, Americans destroyed the image of America by electing and supporting his actions; the President doesnt share power alone, he has only a third of that.
-
No. Yes, he has tarnished it some, but he is not the first. ordinary American citizens have been doing things that both improve and decrease our reputation. Some people in the world will take the actions of Bush and is administration as representative of the US and some will simply realize he represents himself and a rapidly shrinking portion of the country.
