  • Pehaps the reason we have not lost them is because toes have pressure put on them when walking so the ends of toes are particularly delicate and toenails still sustain the shape of the upper surface of the toe giving it rididity on the outside helping us to walk without our toes bending inwards, like the bones in the toes support the toe from the inside.
  • We will always have them its the only way parents know if children are double jointed, if they bite only there finger nails they are not double jointed if they bite there toe nails not only are they of a nervous disposition, they are double jointed too
  • my toenails being slightly too long for my boots (the first time I wore them in years) caused both bigtoes to bruise and now the pard that was growing at the time of the incident is half way out and there is a huge bump. we aren't loosing them because they are not disadvantagious to us. my pinky toenails as tough as an infants toenail
