    Here are some suggestions from
    http://www.tanning.gb.com/tan_line.htm,
but none of them sound especially healthy.

To get rid of tan lines and streaks try and take frequent warm baths and exfoliate the problem areas. Be gentle as continual focus on an area can irritate the skin and you will just end up with another problem on your hands. Lotions containing alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) can reduce the severity of streaks if they are rubbed in frequently. .

A common problem that men find when using self tanners is that they get small dark dots - specifically on their legs. This is nothing but sunless tanner that has accumulated round the hair follicle causing the skin in the area to become darker. A quick shower and a bit of pressure from a wet washcloth will soon sort the problem out.

A more drastic measure to get rid of a tan gone bad is to use hydrogen peroxide. Apply a small amount with a cotton swab to the area and never leave it on for more than a minute. Wipe away with a damp cloth. The peroxide takes a while to work so do not expect immediate results. Getting desperate and using house hold beaches and cleaners (toxic substances) is going to upset and damage your skin, so stay way from them.

Your face and neck are sensitive areas so it is not a good idea to use hydrogen peroxide here. Instead get your hands on some baking soda. Just dampen your face and neck and then gently rub in the baking soda. What this does is help encourage any dead skin cells to come off.

Denture cleaner can help get the colour off of nails - just soak them for a while. An alternative is to use the "industrial scrub" that mechanics use to remove engine grease their hands and underneath their fingernails. Very harsh on the skin, this method should only be used on the hands.

From what I know, it should just naturally fade after a while. I don't know what natural tone your skin has (pale, darker, etc). Funny how you can go to tanning beds to get more tan and there's nothing for the other way around (although I know tans are more popular than white skin) but I'd love to go into something similar to a tanning bed to get an all-white look, even all over. Like Snow White :)

Being (allegedly) White, yet looking like someone of Pakistani origin can be very disconcerting, I know. But please concentrate on the Struggle and not trivia such as this LOL.
