My fiances parents keep putting down my ideas for my wedding but refuse to pay anything for the wedding, what should I do/ say without offending them?

    Continue with your plans (incorporate something token from them), and explain if they are suggesting something you; don't like/can't afford/don't want to do; that you have set budget for the event and as much as you love their input & ideas you have to be careful how each decision is made due to getting the most from your budget. But thank them again for caring to give ideas (at least they seem happy to be having you in the family).
